I´m based in Copenhagen again. Every move takes time. Just to handle your stuff from one place to another and get in touch with it all again. Some mineral stones from Greenland awakes something within me…Greenland was all about visiting a goldmine, Nanulaq, in the summer of 2006. I went there and spend a day together with the Geologist, Kurt. He taught me about how gold “grows” inside a mountain in the slice of Quartz and about mining it out…. I loved it…

Time to ground after another move. Closer to myself than ever before. It´s like we live life in circles…I learned the word :Iterative. I always knew it works like that…which remind me of a very imported place I need to go back to, Greenland. No more words!

Sometimes the cuts from the stones create the rings themselves, like the yellow Beryls. They simply asked for a slice of gold … I still love this shoot by Lars G.

It´s not only springtime here in the very north corner. It is also Songkran, the New Year in Thailand. A time for new beginnings for all of us. While working on the new rings, I recognize the essence of my past work… I wonder what to leave behind and what to bring forward ….
